In 2007, Fred Smith, Founder of SmithFest Events and the SmiithFest Foundation, was in search of a way to have friends and family put aside their busy lives and come together for a fun and exciting day. There is no doubt he found it and the SmithFest Hunt was born. The SmithFest Hunt is a one of kind scavenger hunt adventure that has has become a great fundraiser donating 20-$50,000 each year to deserving local and national non-profits.
In the Fall of 2011 Fred and his brother Brian teamed up to create a business that would focus on creating fun and exciting events for corporations, non-profits along with producing events under their own company name. Since 2011, SmithFest Events, Inc has created many events including The Musical Chairs World Championship, Panic in the Dark 5k, Blizzard Blast winter Obstacle Race, The Summer Super Side Festival, Pats Kick-Off 5k and the Two Guys Smok'n Calendar Run
Moving forward SmithFest Events is focused on the licensing, production and management of top of the line events and customized corporate team building and appreciation experiences.
